You can't seriously think using Avery and printing from your own printer constitutes a "decent" card. You're foolish if you think even for a moment that you can pass that off as a "half-way decent" card. I mean, I guess it's okay if you use that for your two-bit businesses or what-have-you's, but if you try to play with the big boys, you're going to get eaten alive.

Maybe it was your tone then, but your comment on the ridiculousness of the scene made it seem like you didn't get the point of it. It *is* ridiculous that they would make such a big deal out of business cards, but that is what their yuppie pretension and competition has driven them to. They would probably laugh at your self-printed business cards even if they did look great - even if it looked exactly like theirs. We're laughing to ourselves at their expense here, because they're hopeless!

My card is green with yellow text the font is comic sans... beat that....

actually, the textures are different. Egg shell has a rip-like texture while bone was smooth. But pale nimbus was in the middle of Eggshell and Bone.

I know the joke was how each was the same, but it's the first time I ever noticed that even the numbers were the same. I thought it went as far as color and layout.
