This song was featured in the movie, "Three Little Girls in Blue" starring June Haver, George Montgomery, Vivian Blaine, Vera-Ellen, Celeste Holm and Frank Latimore. With Gordon Jenkins and his orchestra. Released in October 1946. A #12 hit for The Charioteers in October 1946. Written by Mack Gordon and Josef Myrow. The other side of this record is "You Make Me Feel So Young" which was also featured in the movie.

  • Dick could swing the up-tempo tunes, but didn't get a chance that often. He was the "understudy" or 2nd baritone banana at Decca, under, who else, but Bing...but, that was no disgrace. Both were my favorite 2 singers ever! Bing would be offered the top songs of the day--Berlin, Kern, Rodgers-Hart, Porter, etc..and the ones he didn't select, Dick Haymes got them. Dick was a consummate singer--balladeer par excellance. Can anyone post his, "You Make Me Feel So Young?" Thanks for this great post
