I know I kinda miss Bush not because of he's a great leader but because he's funny.

This isn't really an inarticulate moment on his part, much as I like a good Bushism. His viewpoint is clear: he says that he defines success as something more than just ending violence.
He could have used alternative formulations, but his contention is intelligible as is. Other ways of getting across the same message would be to say "success is not the absence of violence" or perhaps "success cannot be defined as merely the absence of violence".

i dont understand... he made sense to me... you cant have success without violence.... success isnt when u have no violence, success is when u have a level of violence... i dont see what he said wrong....
