Thanks, it had just been bothering me as to try to figure out the places they were saying. I'm from New Jersey so when I hear Bridgeport I always think Connecticut.

'doppler radar detected a severe thunderstorm six miles north of weatherford(?) moving south east at thirty-three miles per hour.' it goes on to list areas at risk. It mentions such places as Bridgeport, Geary, Greenfield, lookeba and Weatherford again. Seems to be an area of Oklahoma - probably an actual weather broadcast they borrowed (or took) from a radio station or a transcript from weather service communications. It's supposed to be warning of the 'storm' in the song, obviously.
