There's much confusion at times about symbols "being" communist or not. The video shows some more and lesser known of current and former socialist / communist states and organisations and gives short explanations.

  • You're wrong on East Germany, it's not wheat, it's rye.

  • @gurkenhamster well, that they are at the moment needs certainly to be improved but i guess i m more optimistic about their future then. on the website of the ccp one can read their political agenda and reports on their situation and they are not delusional about the situation. and i'm sure or at least i hope they are progressing. but thats just my opinion.

  • yeah, i don't think they are. it's just like what happened so often: people go on the throne although they should've burnt it down. And they are not social. The only difference between other capitalist countries (like Germany) is, that they forbid they're people to speak out what they think, they forbid them everything. They want to get bigger and bigger on the world stage and don't care for their people or the environment. Bur they pretend to be communist, so people hate communism now.

  • @tiberiusngc224 2.) one must keep in mind that china didnt go the postulated way, that is from feudalism-> capitalism-> socialism but quite straight to from feudalism to socialism. thereby they left out the very stage that generates the ressources and wealth which is needed to develop to the next stage. so they reverted to a kind of social state capitalism and i think we shouldnt be too unfair. china has achieved for its citizens more than with any other system. not enough, yet .. I know

  • @gurkenhamster I was not offended but thnx for considering it :) . I agree with you about venezuela being on the right way. they are a bit religious for my taste but I sure wish them to succeed.

Well, china, i know what you mean and I know some chinese personaly and can detect nothing communist about them, but the country had the chance to crumble like the soviet union or turn into kind of a social capitalism with keeping an longterm communist option and i prefer the later. see nxt comment ;-)

  • @tiberiusngc224 : You're right with showing us the symbols and i didn't mean to offend you. if i did, sorry :)

But dude, china isn't communist at all. They're just capitalist, exploiding the working class, they don't have any power there. the only differende between other capitalist states is, that china is also opressive, people can't have an opinion. Or did i again missunderstand you? I think, the country, that moves towar a modern socialism is venezuela

  • @gurkenhamster first off, that is mere informational video, but the diversity and differences of the many "communist" states make it necessarily impossible t o like them all the same. nonetheless I believe that at least parts of the people you mentionted are genuinely communist and they need solidaric critisism rather than bluntlely telling them what they are not. as china concered the way the turn now, although reactionary, is more in line with marx teachings

  • @GrutarOk it's less idealist than the idea of good capitalism. but still we have capitalism. so if people can accept capitalism which is far more utopic, they can embrace communism one day, too. matter of time

  • @DawkWolf you're welcome my comrade. hasta la vicoria siempre :)
