  • OK, I'll play along ZZ. How would you feed the world?

  • These hobby farmers raise Corn and Beans on over 3000 acres.

  • NO, this is a father and son team harvesting their own corn. Check back in six weeks or so I plan to put more and better video.

  • @zzap999 How do you believe this farmer is destroying whole ecosystems? These farmers planted, cultivated and harvested this field to be able to provide food for a growing worldwide population. If we didn't raise food to feed the world and incorporate technology to get the job done, more and more people would starve to death. If you have concerns, we'd welcome you to ask questions about how your food is raised.

  • Thank you for destroying whole ecosystems.

  • @kinser7220 Lol we just got a 9670 this year, considering we had a 9410 before, it really impressed me, I agree there is no way they were going over 7 unless that corn was terrible

  • @TheJamesloy they were running corn with it. 16 row chopping head. My friend claimed they had it going over 7 mph but on average were running about 5. I would like to actually run one for myself to really see. I ran a 9670 last year and i really wasnt impressed with the capacity or quality of the machine.

  • @kinser7220 I do agree with you there, they are kinda ugly. Did they run corn with it or soybeans? They did soybeans here and the new flex draper impressed me more then anything else. I have yet to even see a Lexion work so I really cant place my opinion.

  • @TheJamesloy i saw them run at the Farm Progress show in Illinois and i wasnt that impressed. Biggest problem i see is that EGR filter. You put an exhaust pipe that gets up to 1200 degrees on a combine, thats just a fire waiting to happen. Plus JD has enough problems as it is with their combines catching fire. In most honest opinion, they are ugly as hell, way to bulky looking. All they did was crank up the HP and change the looks with a new cab and side pannels. Lexion makes a class 10 now.

  • @marshallmock We farm 2500 acres up in Michigan, right in the seed capital of the world, If anybody on here wants to call us hobby farmer then bring it on

  • @kinser7220 They do now lol, I f you get a chance to see it in action you need to, very impressive

  • To all of the farmers in the USA....This is a heads up, the FED's are trying to pass a bill or law that will require all farmers to get a CDL licence to operate farm equipment...Also you will be required to keep records and maintain your machinery to what is required on truck drivers....Equipment will also be subjet to inspections....Research it....The CDL may also be enforced to anyone one who has any type of an RV or pulls any type of trailer....
