Thank God for Harper! If any of you have doubts as to the validity of his statements then I challenge you to look towards Europe and US immigration/illegal problems. Do it, and ask yourself, do we want that for Canada? I say not a chance! I'd rather live in a monocultural, monoethnic society then a diverse, racially segregated mess like our European and American neighbors have become.

... we'll change our laws to suit the immigrants... don't like our military uniform? Bring your own... turbans, fez's and dunce caps welcome. If you are a terrorist, murderer, rapist or you have a contagious disease then Canada welcomes you. We only kick out legitimate immigrants. Our lawyers here are underworked and do not make enough money so line up misfits of the world Stephen Harper will do what it takes to make you comfortable.

i used to despise you mr harper.after hearing you are going to toughen up imigration laws i am beginning to like you as our rep. canadas growth in my opinion should come from within. we have enough multiple cultures here. award famillies with 10 or more children with a 50 percent income tax break for life and there children as well.germany used to award the kinder cross to mothers having 10 children.

We the people of Toronto make a lot of money from immigration. My house is worth half a million dollars up from 270 000 9 years ago. I have no interest in lowering immigration. Many of us teachers would lose jobs. Guess what we don't have many white children in Canada. The immigrants don't do much better adopting our values. Most of our immigrants are legal immigrants. Look at ways of making money and growing our economy. We need the housing and all the other jobs. RIM BlackBerry, etc..
