The difference today in the scenes than fifteen years ago was that people would go to an event and really connect with each other in a mutually uplifitng way. The DJ as Superstar phenomenon is relatively recent. At so many events and clubs now, people are dancing facing the DJ rather than dancing together. It is a cultish paradigm rather than an authentic, individual way of expressing oneself through dance. There are larger sociological reasons for this. Mindset and setting create all behaviour.

rubbish, if that was the case ancient tracks like this would long be forgotten for better ones, but thats not the case, oldschool is the original & the best, i've experienced both first hand & todays scenes have absolutely nothing on the old days
