As you can see I finally have Windows 7 64-bit and a new laptop PC. It runs a Core i3-370M CPU @ 2.4GHz and 4GB of RAM. I decided to buy this before 2011 because of the VAT increase in the UK. Packard Bell EasyNote TM99-GN-030UK brought from PC World.

  • Fraps :D is bettah

  • @carloruby3 fraps is good for recording games. camtasia and camstudio are both good for recording generally. for all screen/game recording software, 60 fps is best for the smoothest video.

  • which software is better: camstudio or camtasia

  • @nintendodude369 camstudio is good for basic recording and is ideal for running on slow computers. camtasia is best for tutorials and demonstrations and is ideal for running on a computer with at least 2GB memory (ram). when you are recording your videos, set the frame rate to 60fps to get the smoothest playback. if 60fps slows down your computer while recording, then just use 50fps or 40 or 30.
