JB3 Map switching

JB3 BETA v1.3 Map switching...
Showing how map switching is done via gas pedal. Switching to MAP-4.

NOTE: It is suggested to press the START/STOP button without holding the brake after inserting the keyfob to activate the Dash lights or the accessories on mode.(Not shown in video)

FULL DIRECTIONS:

Insert keyfob and press start/stop button without holding brake to turn ignition on (lights on dash, but engine not running/accessories on mode).

Press and hold the gas pedal down to the floor for 4 or more seconds, and then release pedal.
This puts the JB3 in to listen mode. If you start the engine at this point you will be on map 0.

For performance maps press the gas pedal to the floor and quickly release one time for each map you would like to select.
For example for map 3 press and release the gas 3 times, and start the engine.(As shown in video was MAP-4 so 4 times was pressed)

Your map setting will be saved until changed. If you forget what map you are on, turn engine off and reset the map selection.

NOTE:
This is not my car nor does this car have any modifications including a tune or any sort of aftermarket items, this was just a representation of how map switching is done.

what map should i use for jb3 with dci and full exhaust? thanks, im after speed but the safety and drivability of the car also. bearable on city driving but a monster on take off :) thanks

@AnnaGaasi Same question here...I just installed Jb3 and hour ago... I just went the safe route... Put it into listen mode and started it (map 0 then), and then do it all over again, but now pressing pedal 5 times for map 5

This is only if you have the JB3 chip installed.  Its is to switch maps for the chip. The chime has nothing to do with it.

Wait if im already on map 3 and i want map 4, do i have to press the pedal once or four times after putting it into a listening mode.
