To keep his head when all hell was breaking out around him . . . heroes indeed. Putting their lives ahead of others . . . deserve more than just the Medal of Honor.

It is a shame because if the film was not made, then no one would never have known what the men of the 229th Air assault did - particularly speaking about Bruce Crandall and Ed Freeman. It is a shame that after almost 40 years they are just now being recognized. Everyone should know that NO infantry ground battle can be won without helicopter support.
