Chanté par Ntesa Dalienst, Aimé Kiwakana, Malage de Lugendo.
The picture of Franco does not mean to imply Franco plays here, because he does not. It's just the sleeve of the original LP this song first appeared on.
@orangekush3 Yes, you can have the horns or not. Groups like Zaiko Langa Langa or Choc Stars had not horns, but in recent years horn-like parts are played on electronic keyboards :( in soukous music.
@andsalomoni k now i recognize that part in most songs...thanks a lot. wow...this is an incredible part....just one more question...when you have the horns playing at the end is that included in the sebene. (sometimes all you have are the horns) I was just wondering. thanks again.
@orangekush3 The sebene is the second part of a congolese rumba song, in which the singers stop to sing and start the so called "animation" with calls and responses, and is based on the intertwining parts of the guitars and bass (the very heart of congolese rumba). Here it starts at 6:55.

The entire song is great, but the sebene in particular is absolutely incredible (I'm a sebene-fan).

Ntesa is superb! I've had this tape since 1989. I look forward to "Dodo". And perhaps some more of Franco's censored songs?
