Graffiti Interviews 1- Melbourne 2008

These are some voices from the streets of Melbourne. This footage is from late 2008 and shot in Collingwood, a Melbourne suburb that has a large amount of stencils, paste-ups, tagging and conventional graffiti.

The interviews are a documentation of people's opinions on street art and their responses to the change in legislation in Victoria/ Australia.

why interview an old person of course they would say graffiti is bad there old graffiti has been around since cave men they did drawings on the wall so do graffiti artists

Some very interesting opinions coming through here and on the rest of the videos. It seems there is a general appreciation, though in the right space and format. Interesting that some are more offended by the message of the graffiti rather than the graffiti itself. Keep up the good work!
