i love the way u made your bow. i am 13 now and have tried to make a bow for 6 years without success. i also do archery instructions with my wilderness skills instructor. i was wondering if u could make me one
Great job on the bow. I was wondering what size and weight arrows you use and the tip weight. Ive got a 62" recurve, and am having trouble with the arrows porpoising a bit.
Dave I noticed you used the file and rasp in your left hand but you shoot right handed.I also noticed you cast the fishing line with your left hand. I was just curious if you were right or left handed...or both?
Hey Dave, I have been making a bow out of locust for the past few days in this style, but the problem I am having is that the limbs are already very thin and are not bending to the point where they can have a string put on it. I fear that if I make them too thin the bow will be too light or break. Do you have any advice for me?
Good series; great information. Any thoughts about using a spokeshave to rough-out the limbs? I'm kind of thumb-fingered with a hatchet and tend to end up taking too much wood.
should cut a rest, a lot more accurate, i watched most of all your videos, great stuff bery informative thumbs up
