Hansie Cronje - part of the Buerk report 2003

Part of a programme made by Michael Buerk, in which he goes to South Africa and investigates the aftermath of Cronje's corruption and (convenient for some) early death.

Cronje is the name that now takes all the blame, but we should remember that 3 Test captains were implicated in match fixing around 2000. Numerous other cricket matches have obviously been fixed, three of the Pakistan team that played in the Lords test in 2010 have been jailed for their corruption, and cricket remains mired in suspicions of matches being thrown.
