Thank you shiegurl for your answer. I am now living alone, and being almost 80 cannot see it to be wise to get another companion with a long life. I would worry about her(yes i prefer females) future....
All I can say that these beautiful cats have done nothing but enhance their "companions" lives.
The females aren't called Queens for nothing.

I amsure my Kis kept my husbands life flame alight longer than the doctors predicted. He was devastated when she died..(kidneys)... she would only eat fresh meat(mutton) and drank very little..we put it on her food..
Her voice was a deep bell like sound, most unusual..She was a tawney with a pin k belly...

My little companion Abby(Kis) was 15 when she died. She only spoke when giving us a live mouse toplay with. She went for long walks in forest or onbeach..no collar or lead. So Beautiful.

Yeah, he used to follow me when I went for walks... LOL XD They are great cats :) I am so lucky to have him.
