English Army officers' boots (1930's?) I bought them in Moss Bros, London 1962 for 1 pound. Men mustering out sold their gear for the younger entering officers. I found it a paradise-surrounded by spit shined boots of valiant heroes. I only bought pairs- the bigger cavalry boots seeming, at the time, useless since I didn't ride.
