Joey Porter is a good linebacker...but the only reason why the steelers let him go was because he wanted alot of money and the steelers werent willing to pay him alot when their back up linebackers were just as good. JAMES HARRISON defensive player of the year...i think the steelers are just fine

I happen to be a longtime Steeler fan also, and let me simply state this fact; Joey was the "SHIT", period. He has a personality to match his talent, and he always backed up his comments with his performance on the field. He made the Steelers All-Time 75th anniversary team, which is an accomplishment that speaks for itself. I'm glad James Harrison turned out to be a truly outstanding linebacker, because he had some LARGE shoes to fill. Long live the BLACK & GOLD!
