This is a 2001 Checkmate 2100 Pulsare that was custom built for Honda Marine and the debut of their V-6 engines. Since the original prototype engine was replace with a stock BF225AKL engine with a custome Sabre gearcase and custom rigged and setup by Calumet Marine. With the orginal setup, engine, and standard sabre gearcase the top speed was 65mph, with the tweaking done by Calumet Marine top speed observed by GPS was 71.8mph.
Now the boat is being used be me and my family as a ski and pleasure boat. Its very fast and fun and burn almost no gas!
