I figured that how far you was out. But we went around "BR" and one of our pastors caught a 42 pound Gag using a V-liner. Can't wait for May 1st when they lift the grouper closure. We're going strait to the "LEDGE". Sweet Clip I'm showing it to my pastor he loves to fish like this.

We were around 55 miles or so, don't remember for sure but that's usually where we go after the big boys.

One more thing what size weight would you recommend to get and with these jigs do you drift with em or anchor up

He was using the Abyss style and it was a dark green color, and I believe it was 7 oz. Most of the time we are drifting, that way we cover a lot of water. Weight depends on how fast you're moving or at anchor, how strong the current is.

A couple weeks ago I was fishin in Terra cia bay- 18 inches of water and bam!- I caught a 7-8 pound grouper in 18 inches! Just ate it last night
