The beautiful score from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. This was from the DVD menus (available on soundtrack as The Dragon's Heartbeat). The soundtrack has been used in many trailers, including Forrest Gump. Be sure to purchase the soundtrack on CD to listen to such a masterpiece in its best quality.

"A theme for a hero."

  • Bruce lee wasnt an asian. he was a human being who was brother to all of his brother and sisters all over the world. He sacrificed so much to prove that to the whole world and look at him now. He died so young, but he made a legacy made so permanent. Im so happy that the composer of this song composed the true essence of Bruce Lee. RIP LEE SIU LONG!!

  • LIK DIS IF U CRY EVERTIM

  • This song is actually on iTunes as part of a "Trailers complication" CD. One of which is called "Coming Soon-Trailer Tunes" Which is where I got it.

  • ''A chink can jump pretty high uh?''

  • This is officially Bruce Lee's theme song, nuff said.

  • true story, bro

    (great movie!)

  • @TalentSpotter83 It's a good thing that you recognize and admit it, because most white people have one setting when it comes to racism: "Deny, deny, deny." Around the time the "Last Airbender" movie came out, people vehemently defended the whitewashing. But now? I do see a change, because Hollywood is growing more arrogant and racist in whitewashing Asian roles with what seems like reckless abandon. I like "Shanghai Kiss," a true story by the way. The struggle continues...

  • @TsugaruClan I agree. The continual bad treatment of 'asians' by Hollywood is disgraceful. Even in recent times with the remake of "The Green Hornet" and Cameron Diaz allegedly unwilling to do a kissing scene with Jay Chou says it all. There are films like "Shanghai Kiss " which show an asian man romancing a white woman (for instance) but they're few and far between. We need the likes of Bruce Lee to break the mold. I say this as a white man which is important.

  • @joetheazl That's what I love about Randy Edelman's style

  • @joetheazl Hear, hear. The influence he had and continues to have on this world is undeniable. He's a member of the special list of cultural icons that are truly missed. Can you imagine what the movie landscape would have been like if he were still around? As great as the likes of Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa and Jackie Chan are, Bruce Lee was better than all of them. That's how great he was (still is).

  • @joetheazl wasnt JUST an asian*

  • @TsugaruClan yeah of course i know what you're saying and i was actually trying ot point that out as well. I realized that i had improper grammar on the statement i had by not adding "wasnt JUST an asian". It wasnt intentional, it was by accident lol. Of course, we may never forget on the influence he put on this world :)
