  • Daco-Romanian (Romanian: limba dacoromână, Latin: lingua Daco-Romana) (or more precisely: Daco-Romance languages) is the term used to identify the Romanian language in contexts where distinction needs to be made between the various Eastern Romance languages (Daco-Romanian, Aromanian, Istro-Romanian, and Megleno-Romanian). Certain sources classify these four languages as dialects of a larger Romanian language, hence the need for this distinction. It is spoken by 26-30 million people.

  • @HildaBone The Daco-Romanian language and people are just that: Daco-Romanians from Dacia (current day Romania plus Republic of Moldova along the NistruDnester River). This is the predominant genetic, linguistical, cultural and ethnocentrism of my people. The Russians are Slavic colonists with occupation armies, gulags, and imperialism well known to the world. Claiming that there is a "Moldovan" language and people is benefitting Russian imperialism. It's just Romanian language and people indeed.

  • @Romanisipunctum...From Slavic vocabulary...Veselje-happiness, veseliti se-to be happy...Romanian languge is Latin, although, Romanians are not Latin people...They do not come from Rome, they were only Romanized by Latin's-modern Italians, before that, they were Hellenized by Greeks and in the fifth century of AD, they were completely assimilated with Slavic tribes.

  • @HildaBone Please read the etymology of the words Romanian/Romania; they come from Rome.

Please see what the Romanian language is: over 80% Latin based.

Please read The Black Book of Communism; you'll see what our Russian "neighbors" did to Romania and to any other "neighbouring" country (including the Russian army occupation troops from Eastern Moldova). WIth such neighbors and colonists who needs enemies?

  • @Romanisipunctum...How would you sound and look like withouth Slavic neighbours...NOT LIKE THAT...You look and sound like any other Slavic nation.

  • this group was from Chisinau MOLDOVA

  • @LondonGeorge Music and dance ensemble "Veselia/Happiness" is one of the most remarkable folk dance ensembles from MOLDOVA ( not Moscow), a true messenger of Romanian folklore, dance, song and costumes with a rich history. It is the recipient of numerous awards at prestigious festivals and national and international competitions.

  • @Romanisipunctum I am not talking history here, buddy. This dance waswas filmed in 1990 and the group is from Moscow itself. Folklore is about history and they do whatever was part of their geography. You know???

  • @LondonGeorge You are off by 20 years buddy. Moldova is a region of 98% ethnic Romanians, currently independent from Russia, but invaded by the 14 Russia Army in the East. The country's language, ethnicity, music, dances, flag and currency are Romanian. The Russian minority constitutes less than 10% of its ethnic fiber. For more infor google Moldova history.

  • @Romanisipunctum this group os from Moscow Russia
