  • No elevators...just throttle controllers, similar to those used with scalextric.

  • Ah, memories! I used to do a lot of this with Hemel Hempstead Aeromodellers back in the early 70s at Lucas Aerospace. Tiring of converted rubber power kits (Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokees, which flew fine) I tried a number of harebrained home-build designs that paid little attention to the theories of aerodynamics and which, naturally perhaps, did not tend to fly fine (high-speed ground craft, mostly). Best model ever shown though was a beautiful scale DH.88 with working undercarriage and flaps.

  • remember doing a lot of this when i was in the Air Training Core(ATC) going to start it again just bought a couple of kits but cant remember how long cable is from pole to model

  • u build it from balsa wood

  • where do you get the plane kits???/

    i googled it and got nothing

  • how do you control altitude, do you use elevators or is it just throttle control?
