Michael, I would caution you to be careful buddy. I was searching around an old house here in Florida and came face to face with a 3 foot diamond back rattler. Also I was nervous when you went inside since you said the basement was full of water and the floors were old wood. Imagine if you had fallen in.

@Jockguy2008 dude there is no Diamond back rattle snakes in my area of NC, They dont live in this climate, we only have copperheads and ive only seen one is 3 1/2 yrs of detecting places like this.. yea we do dangerous stuff..
