How Not to Make a Horror Movie

Unbelievable as it may seem, there was an episode of "Midsomer Murders" (cosy British murder mystery show) where the killer actually used a spoon!
A pretty huge, silver spoon that actually looked like you could kill someone with it, but still... it's a freaking spoon. You just can't take them seriously: the name, the shape...

One thing you notice about white movies, in this case white horror movies. Is the question. Why is this scary? Halloween. Nightmare on elm street. Remind me why these movies were scary. Cain? Cain is extremly unscary. Only slightly more scary than the undertaker his brother.

Isn't it funny how some of the classic Disney "scary " films are scarier than a lot of today's "terrifying monster movies?" Somehow that monster from the Bald Mountain bit in Fantasia is more terrifying than the Scream guy? And the monster didn't say a word either!
