@dirtysleeves1 and that sure helped. NB seems more interested in allowing crack habits. best thing ever did was skate-wise was moving out of that city. Congratulations to North Bay for setting up a future city inhabited only by 50 year olds and plus.
-
NB has too many soccer and ball fields, but they build them cause they have the support of charities and participants.

The original park downtown where TD is now was good when it first opened, but Ferris and low numbers/boredom killed it. So City Hall see's that as lack of interest from the youth hence no reason to go forward with a permanent solution. Which is expensive building it and insurance. The original park we formed a group of parents, local businesses, politicians, and youth. We even had a skate demo at the arena put on by Zero Team with all profit towards the park.
-
The main difference is the other parks raised money and got the community involved with fund drives and awareness. The NB park was always supposed to be concrete and permanent but City Hall got lazy and numbers dropped.

Thanks for making this!
