A small demonstration of "home-made" Qt 4.6 based kinetic panning on N900. The pannable widget in this demo is originally from QTablet project. The widget itself is based on QGraphicsWidget.
I just wanted to test the performance of the widget on N900 also. It seems to run pretty well without setting the graphics system to use OpenGL for the app.
I hope some one will find this interesting:)

I notice that you were in Sirkus Finlandia - I'm working there now!! If I had known there was a N900 taking photos of our show, I would have been forced to confiscate it from you.... ;)

Ah - I thought they looked a bit too good for a mobile device taken inside..What are you using to transfer media? Or are you just dragging and dropping via explorer?. I would like to see Ovi suite 2.0 improved to rival iTunes ease of use. Ah well, I'll have to wait till mid November to find out.

This is just a demonstration of the pannable widget. The content in it is just created for demonstration purpose i.e. it's not a real gallery application. But for transferring media to the device I have used bluetooth, ssh/scp and usb with mass storage mode so far. For uploading/sharing e.g. to the flickr there's a built-in sharing plugin in Gallery app.

Hi, what do you mean "scroll like this on desktop"? You can use exactly the same widget that I'm using on N900 on desktop also. There's no restrictions for that.
