Although a Muslim, I oppose monarchy and any form of theocratic rule. Islam is only compatable to democratic republics because it has many aspects that are shared with or similar to secular principals, such as freedom of speech. I too believe in one umma, but not in the form of a global empire. To each their own country. I too want the people to become Muslims, but that is up to Allah to carry out.
