@amb1062 Only the vocals are live here,they are playing to a pre recorded backing track which happens to be the actual recording.Why they did this I have no clue,they could have easily performed this live.

John Lennon isn't dead. He is little island in the middle of the Pacific. Just enjoying life with his friends Elvis Presley, John Kennedy, Abe Lincoln and Michael Jackson. There's also that new habitant: Amy Winehouse.

Noble Prize for the BEATLES

This is the best version because you can hear the backing vocals. Plus the Paul McCartney scream at the beginning is signature. The guitars did look kinda faked. Audiences were less sophisticated then and probably only saw it once on television. Back then you couldn't replay it.
