I dont find split head scarys their like the dogs from resident evil 5 and i hate those dogs so i would kill all the split heads in silent hill 3 to bad i dont own it :(

I was hoping the Closer would be your number 1 choice :D Closers are my favorite monster, even though whenever I saw one I would scream (legit) until my aunt thought I was being murdered by my cousin.

And the most annoying monster in SH3 is the Pendulums for the irritating screeching which continues even if you pause the game.

The scariest monsters to me where the Closers and Pendelums. If you really see how the pendelums look, they are really creepy.

I NEVER killed any of the Pendulums unless I had to... I just ran to get out of the room, so I didn't have to listen to the sound they make xD

I don't understand what's so scary about a Closer... To me, they look like monstrous statues with HUGE fists, so that they can SMACK you in the face if you don't watch out!
Dangerous? Yes. Scary? Meh, not really.

Pendelums without a doubt. Of all the things in Silent Hill, they have to be the most... unnatural. Seriously, how the fuck can something like that move, let alone exist under the normal laws of nature? Scary shit, if only because it defies physics.

my choice would be
5. Slurper - Cause of the noises it makes
4. Insane Cancer - for being fat as fuck its fast as hell scared the shit outta me caught me off guard by thinking it was slow.
3. Nurses - freaky breathing, they can shoot you
2. Scraper - cause of their speed not many fast monsters in silent hill
1. Closer - twitches in stop motion and the moaning sound it makes.
