  • theres a piston on the other side also?

  • The front calipers have 4-pistons.. two on either side of the pad. The rears have two pistons, one on either side.

  • Is it ok to use regular Duralast Pads? I'm not gonna race my Evo anytime soon. I'm on a tight budget right now, since I got laid off. I just wanted to know if regular break pads would damage the rotors, thanks...

  • I'm no pad expert, but I have really cheap pads for street use. They stop the car fine, I even used them at the track 2-weeks ago. No problems, but they dust like crazy.. that's really annoying!! So if you're getting street-only pads, my suggestion is to find "low dusting" pads.

  • havent done mine in a year or so, watched this for a quick reminder. easy as hell, thanks.

  • how did you like the ds2500's any noise ?

  • Ok, I got my pad replaced. Do you have a Video on how to bleed brembo breaks fluid? I'm thinking of doing mine soon, thanks...

  • I see... Thanks for the info.. I think the Duralast is has low dust, but I'll go and check it out right now.. Thanks again...

  • Looks alot like my toyota truck except mine rusty color and pins welded in there needed a hammer chissel and PB blaster time and swearing.

  • No, don't resurface the rotor unless it has warped. I reciently checked my rotor thickness and its below factory recomendations, so i bought new rotors. I've never had to resurface them since new (~80k miles), and have swapped pads litterally dozens of times over the past four years (street to race to street, etc.)
