  • This was "Two-strip Technicolor"- used sparingly in feature films during the early 30's because of the extra cost involved. "Three-strip" {full} Technicolor" was used in several "experimental" shorts, beginning in 1934 [and some of Disney's cartoons from 1932 on]; first feature film to use "three-strip" was "Becky Sharp" (1935).
