One Last thing, Rowdy....I'm on here as Alyoop2 (don't know how I managed to make two different accounts for myself...) I posted a film I did on Worthville, NC, about a year ago. If you're from around Asheboro, you might enjoy it - I used vintage family pictures from Mom's family, who lived in Worthville from the 1890's to 1972. Look up either "Worthville" in the general search or for "nannerlh" - my AKA. Regards, Nancy

Rowdy - I ran out of room - don't know if you knew this but Mom died in 2007, New Year's Eve. She'd battled severe, crippling depression for years and poor health. Mike and I were so blessed to have people who still thought of her and took the time to visit. Again, thanks.

Rowdycat - I think I remember her talking about that. You'll never know what you did to brighten her spirits during that time. Rowdy I've got a picture somewhere of Bob Walker throwing rocks with his toes - he went out to the old "Briar Patch" antiques place, out on 49, where Louise and Sidney Walker lived - they had a pond back there and he demonstrated his 'feets' of skill...LOL. Send me your email and I'll send you scans if you're interested.

I had the pleasure of meeting your mom a few years ago, she obtained a copy of Killers Three from me. We had several discussions by phone about her experiences while filming it. She said Dick Clark had gotten into a field of chiggers and was so mad that he vowed never to return to NC. She also told me how she was chosen to be in the movie and that Robert Walker Jr. would entertain the crowd during breaks in filming by putting a rock between his toes and hitting a stop sign with it from 50 feet.

Oh Dear. My mother's (Lorene Klepacki - Minnie Reed) one - and only appearance on film. On the one hand I'm tickled to see her as I remember as a child, but dear heavens this film stunk on ice. Dwight Hunsucker (the store Manager and I guess that would make him my 'film' father) was a lovely man.
