UNHAPPY GIRL (DOORS) Vox Continental

Solo Effort this time with the usual familiar , at this stage "Twist" :P hahaha i love doing this! call it showing off call it what you like...who cares , its virtuosity it its own way :) and believe me children, that opening chorded intro is tricky at the best of times hehe just wanted to give you all a chance to appreciate the sound of the instruments and the raw power of them ... beautiful.

Im using some Reverb to try to imitate the sound of the Organ on the Record, on the previous take with the band, i used no reverb.


This is my "new" Vox but its even older than the previous one i was playing! beautiful Organ


Interesting fact: Im playing this song in Bminor on the record its in Cminor however, i believe it was actually recorded in Bminor in the studio, and like LIGHT MY FIRE the pitch was altered up a step in production for some reason , interestingly , when the Doors played it live at the Matrix they played it in B minor ;) the key im playing it in here.Maybe some of the Anoraks out there could check up on it or ask some of the Surviving Doors if my hunch is correct.
