I was lying in bed the other night, when suddenly, I heard a voice. I looked in the direction of the voice and thought my Chia Pet was trying to speak to me. When I got up to investigate it, while approaching my Chia Pet, it miraculously burst into flames, and I saw God! (dun! dun! dun!)And God gave me a list of ten things that he wanted all the bible believers of the World to ask themselves

Music:
"Jesus Walking on the Water" by Violent Femmes
"Every Sunday" by Smile Empty Soul
"Jesus is the Manager at Wal-Mart" by Smile Empty Soul

  • Hm, I don't nessicarily believe everything that's stated in this video, and I surely don't follow many of your logical bounds. However, I do agree with your sentiment that humans as a race need to think about and make their own choice as apposed to blindly following beliefs that they simply believe because their families or the people around them believe. Favorited.

  • AH! your a genious! (i know im not that great at spelling.. -_-) but you have the sme views ive been trying to express for a while! like, why do all the religions have different views? they cant all be right.. and how did the idea of god appear when theres no physical proof, i think the people long ago, before science, were scared of the unknown and wanted an answer they could understand. but now we have answers! we dont NEED a simple soultion anymore. anywho, great video. ^.^

  • i have a answer to why angels feel pain and how angels do battle, in "paradise lost" (i know, im a nerd) he put pain there as a punishment for the angels rebelling, and forced 1/3 of his angel supporters to fight the 1/3 that was rebelling. he basically punished all angels for the decision of 33.3 percent of them. if you want to read the book its "paradise lost" by john Milton and it was published in 1667.

  • Truely moving... both the text and the music.

  • got some good points goin on man.

im jewish, and i have to agree with u.

im pro-gay, anti-slaves and obviously hating on hitler. but yeah, why the fuck would he prosecute gay people...they like men and they are men...big fuckin deal.

thanks for makin this vid man.

  • I think you should probaly do one of these on Norse mythology. Maybe even Tribal Native mythologies. Hell, probably even should go after the Far Eastern cultures as well...

The Anti-Christian/Catholic has enough people on it's bandwagon. If we are trying to rid the world of religion and ignorance, we should really start going after other beliefs as well. Unless you don't mind religion and ignorance, and in that case this is all pointless... And that's a Sad Face Moment.

  • Yet to tell you about Hercules with a hydra, you'd dismiss it as untrue. Knights of old slaying dragons? Fantasy stories. See the trend? Stories from history are oftentimes embellished in order to make them seem more amazing. Why is the bible any different? Just look at the contradictions, even in jesus' life story. Furthermore, look at what they left out, it's even more ridiculous. Talking snakes making women eat fruit to damn us all? Seriously?

  • Thanks - I reread the Bible. But now when someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, I remind them of Leviticus 18:22. (I live in California.) I want to sell my daughter into slavery since she gives me a lot of headaches. I remind her it's sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. Finally, I often see persons working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 states they should be put to death. My boss wants me to work every weekend so I know what I will do to him today.

  • AAAH! John Lennon for the duration im in heaven?

I dunno if this has been raised before, but this seems like a pretty athiest argument, how could God be self contradictory, and make people NOT believe in him? Also, what does he look like, if oyu saw him? And are you sure it wasnt just your house going on fire, instead of the 'power of god'.

  • Hell yeah, i totally agree with this man. =]

  • Eh, fair play to your responses, although I strongly disagree. To say that the whole bible is a hidden moral lesson back on itself is kinda faulty I'd say, when the whole point of the bible is to devote yourself fully to God and God's rules. I don't think the God illustrated in the bible cares much for the people learning for themselves, but just being blind followers. I still so no practical reason why God would need to prove the faithfullness of the people to themselves. I could just see...
