Ah, yes the beatles first record !!! It was the very first record I ever bought -- I still remember each and every song -- every word of ever song -- I could sing all the harmonys -- a great record !!!

2:56 Wow I think that song is an Elvis song. He was a big inspriation for the Beatles. It's nice to know they did have a song in common back then. Please Please Me is an album full of awesome songs. I like how there is a mix of pieces of different songs to give a good touch. There were so many wonderful songs. By the end, I was hoping, "Come on 'Twist and Shout'". Twords the end, I cheered out, "Yes!!" I hope the Anthology treats all the albums like this.

the songs were positive, of course. Nothing about "social change" since that is fetish of later times (and I think aside from John's "peace" stuff, they didn't want to change the world, as they said emphatically). Romantic love and all the adolescent feelings associated with it. they wrote the lyrics after the melody was established and never meant anything important -- just good tunes, happy words, excitement, rock-n-roll.

Some people may consider their early recordings trite, but from the first album and all the way through their solo careers, their music was almost always about positive things, love, peace, and social change. For many of us it was the soundtrack of our lives. Sometimes I come back to listen to my memories. It was a wonderful way to grow up.

Alguém sabe onde eu acho aquela montagem colorida da época do anthology em que ta os Três Beatles vivos e o John.

Eu sei que ela é colorida e é uma das melhores montagens que tem do John velho.

Parece que ele realmente estava naquele momento.
