@NYbeerdude Aboriginal tribesmen do not hunt because they are "poor". They do this because they have chosen to continue with their traditional culture that has allowed them to thrive for millenia. In the US the Natives resisted colonialism very heavily. I'm sure they are not happy with all the "wealth" brought by the genocide of their culture. Have some respect for other cultures traditions. You are the racist. You assume that these traditions are not viable ways of living. This is not poverty.

I have lived in brasil for 3 years and I can tlel you it is happier country than the west. I have lived in the US, UK, and Australia and New Zealand. brasil is poor thrid world country with a small rich class. The overall culture of the poor is happier than the west.

"These ppl" are happier than most western people they are simply satisfied with what they have.
The average western eats more meat on a daily basis than people living in third world countries do in a week! I just came up with that but that sounds about right :)
They do not hunt for sport, they eat what they hunt.
They consider a monkey as a delicacy.
That is actually not the baby monkey's mother, they found him earlier and they raise him as a pet and not to be eaten.

@gpmonch that has to be the dumbest comment I've ever heard. My parents TO the west FROM India because life is better here. Poor people do NOT "enjoy" being poor, and poor people are not "happier" than rich people because they do not desire nice things. THEY DO DESIRE NICE THINGS and they DISLIKE BEING POOR. This is exactly the type of liberal racism so prevalent today - when liberals say brown skinned people enjoy their lives poor it is SO MUCH WORSE than anything else you could say.

I never said they were happy being poor, but they do seem to be happier
then most people I know....
and it's also true about many people I've met traveling in the far east
