I'm going to second that. I try my best to avoid the words "trick" or "effect" during my Mentalism routines. I call them "experiments" or "games" instead.

It's good that you're out there performing. However, with the Book Test- saying "This is a classic effect & mentalists all over the world do this" probably isn't the best thing to say. I agree you should work on presentation. Just do a bit more homework and know you're on the right track.
