Different yes, opposing, no. When we have less government and most decisions are left to the state it is easier for the people to have control over the government. If things get out of hand they can just go to another state. The state governments would realize this and would think twice before making any decisions.

Gold standard didn't fail until the federal reserve was formed. Paul isn't just straight Libertarian, any moron with a TV could see that. Besides, when this nation was founded we were very much about state's rights and individual rights, you know like LIBERTARIANISM. And guess what, IT WORKED. I suggest you read up on your history before making dumb ass comments on youtube.
