@printaboy About 1920, made in ballarat by ronaldson brothers and tippett. Lamp start, meaning it doesnt have a spark plug. Water Cooled hit and miss engine.

thank you, the water tank is mounted under the engine, and the water pump on the side shaft pumps the water, and the exhaust goes through the cooling tank, a good aussie engine

Is this a sterling engine? If so, when was it made?

Hi, This is a Kerosene engine, Made by Ronaldson Brothers and Tippett in Ballarat, around 1922. Its 6 HP, was used to run machinery like chaffcutters, water pumps etc, on Australian farms, The big green Ronaldson Tippett engine is 13hp, twice the size
