GoW -CoO- GM / No Upgrades / No Magic / No Relics / No SubWeapons / No Damage / Blades of Chaos.

Boss - Charon.
Part 4

NOTE1: I know BigVEE, I messed up in S4 with the light balls, I should have seen your PAIN+ coverage in gow3 forum before doing this battle...I actually tried only dodging his light balls but not attacking him (I thought he was only shoot 9 fireballs, a timed fight, but I was wrong), and I didn't keep trying.

NOTE2: Now I have a save before Persephone, but I checked your coverage to verify if the S2 was as long as I expected, and I actually found the same tactic...but well, then I will see how can I fix my error here with charon, doing a real pain+ against persephone.

NOTE3: Thanks to "BigVEE" (discover*) and "shinobier" (showing*) for the minotaur skip.
NOTE4: Thanks to findlestick for the other skip.

  • @TazOne1 >spoiled it

Should I be apologizing for taking that moment of stupor from you?

  • @TazOne1 >ring-out, hazards and collisions

Dumbed the system down too much into simply slapping HP away for my tastes. One of the larger reasons I think less of this entry than the rest.

    >shockwave by mistake

Wasn't really different for me. Simply noticed I wasn't getting hit.

  • @TazOne1 >continuity break

Same as with the gears (restart to skip one for the most part).

  • @TazOne1 >exploit

Standing on a chest and plume whoring in the direction of a pacified Cyclops if I'm referring to the right video.

    >timing with use of attack even if not allowed to hit

For me it was looking away and using s,t against walls in some of those cases.

  • @TazOne1 I'd given him some cursory examples of speed tactics, but the lack of interest from others meant no need to keep at it. The finding of IJ meant a lot. The simple HJ was just a start.

  • @BigVEE (Your death) haha yep...I actually after seen your handle to this part...I did a quick run (NG+, since I only had one saving spot) and i got here with BoC at lv.4 and I died exactly as you did...As he falls I ran (roll) to him mistaken the timing and eaten his 3 fireballs ahahha. pretty fun shit that it happened me the same as you and I knew that could happen cuz you spoiled itxd

  • @BigVEE (ShockWave) ahha, I found it by mistake !

  • @BigVEE (Plataforms) Same to me!

(Saw) it's bad that there is no collision at all, no with enemies, not with the environment...too sad :(

  • @BigVEE (Archers) I thought on using the restart whoring...but that keeps away all the continuity from the game -_-

  • @BigVEE (Exploit) No idea about that haha.

(Minotaur) It's the only way if not 'luck' to handle this guy without getting hurt by the archers...and I used t,s,s instead of s,t,s,s (cuz some times you can land an extra 's' hit...and the s3 as you said is stronger than in other games), so sometimes you can land t,s,s,s and that is stronger than s,t,s,s ;)

(Minotaur melee attack) haha...for me was easier using an 's' between his attack (even if not landed) just to be familiar with the timing
