On 5/17/2008, during the Layer One Security Conference in Pasadena, CA (http://layerone.info), a bunch of geeks and hackers played a game called the Gringo Warrior Challenge.

Btw, if you post a comment that talks shit, I'm just going to delete it and block you.

The goal was to break out of a simulated Mexican prison in 5 steps:

1. get out of handcuffs
2. open 'cell' door
3. overpower guard
4. break into filing cabinet to retrieve passport
5. break out of prison

For each choice except numbers 1 and 3 there was an easy, medium and hard choice.

Every single guy there, many who own their own handcuffs and practice all the time, were schooled by a 12 year old girl named ella. Sadly I don't have her best run on video, which was 1m42s. This is her slow run, at about 5m

Btw, ella chose all hard locks in her runs.

  • It's very easy to get out of restraints, but all locks in jails (I know from personal experience) are large and can't be picked with small tools..... the plugs are way too big to pick with anything that's issued or sold in a jail, and the guards are too big and/or fat to be overpowered by little gals with skills that seem to be more suited to breaking into the house at the end of the cul-de-sac than breaking out of County.

  • @EvilGuy669 it's a game... you know, like when you pretend to do things for fun. What part of game are you and the rest of the so-smart commentators missing?

  • This looks fun, but here is a tip. If you don't want to be stuck in a position where you are in a Mexican jail... don't go to Mexico.

    Simple. XD

As for her taking down a security guard, if she had some martial arts skills maybe, but I don't think she has any fighting skills. She would get owned by the guards.

I think they need to put in a REAL person instead of a dummy.

  • Yeah, here's the thing, it's a game. When you're playing monopoly, if somebody sat behind you and said, "psssh, you couldn't REALLY build a hotel on boardwalk for 400$, get some real cash and lets ACTUALLY buy a property," everybody would laugh at you and tell you to go make dip.

It's just a game, she played it VERY well, and I love mexico.

  • well, first off, *I'M* not picking on anybody. *I* didn't name it or come up with the concept, I just shot and edited the video.

Second, the mexican jail concept is anecdotal, it's basis isn't racism or bigotry, it's just a funny story.

Third and final, notice that along with the concept of the mexican prison is the term gringo which is derogatory for people from north of the border. I don't believe that also is anecdotal and has just the same amount of emphasis as does the mexican jail.

  • @rimticeful That you in the video?

  • And here I am four years later!! How have you guys been??

  • Hanna watch out.

  • Send her to the FARM she is CIA material lol

  • That's impressive. Not that i encourage bad behaviour but, she could really be the most amazing thief. She'll be a very attractive girl when she's older, and we all know society doesn't think too highly of beautiful blond women, except for porn, modeling, and general sex appeal. So if she could learn a few attack and defense moves, she could really be something to watch out for. Like Parker from Leverage, take back what the rich and greedy steal.

  • @craptacularflea I wasn't being critical of her or anyone else, I was just pointing out the obvious. And I don't think they're pretending to do that for fun, I think they ARE doing it for fun.

  • Do not rumble in to lock like a 13th street junky ... Do it soft & with view on the Pins.

A very good production & excellent music ... greets rem0ve

  • The song is Darshannon by Celtic Cross, had to ask a friend about it. <3
