  • Hello Marty i enjoy your videos, i will be going down this road at some point, I'm wondering the price of the festool hose is $98.00, the price that you paid came to around $85.00 and with all the running around and figuring this out wouldn't been easier just to buy the festool hose?

  • @MrJohnspro Hi,

This is what's frustrating with vacuum hookups to the various tools. It's never clear what will really work. I went with the Shopvac hose because I knew it would connect to my existing Shopvac. All indications (but I have no direct experience) are that the Festool hose will work with just about everything. If that's true, go with the Festool. You'll probably still have to kludge together adapters for your various other tools.

  • Thanks for the video, this is helpful. But it could be about 9 minutes shorter. :)
