  • I was a bit thrown by the pics are self explanatory...you've got a pic from Hawaii stuck in the middle...and since I've never been to Scotland and only been through Hawaii on my way to war...I'm a bit confused as to the "speak for themselves" the music did/does...appreciate your sharing...~Marshall, writing from Sunny Baghdad, Iraq...pray for peace...\-)

  • Marshall, f you're referring to the sunset pic around the 2m mark that is indeed in Scotland, in the Easter Ross area near Inverness. Palm trees also grow in certain areas of the west coast of Scotland

  • Could be, it's a chord sequence from the earlier days of the software I'm still using. It could be my own ears not behaving too as most of my arrangements are done by ear !

  • 0:38 ??????

  • Could you explain a bit what the pointer is please ?

  • Lord Byron's words set to a beautiful melody and expertly played. I painted the gates of the level crossing at Embo in 1957. How's that for a claim to fame? Ha! Ha!

Is that a picture of the jetty at Invergordon ?

I love your pics of the Highlands. Great video and thanks for sharing it.

  • Soory I'm late replying, got a rotten bug that just won't go away. It could be Invergordon. I havn't been there for years so I'm not sure for certain. I wasn't even thinking about school in 1957. I was two then LOL LOL LOL

  • the jetty is is the old aluminium pier at invergordon,i was at the building of it.

  • @graham1281 Wow! - Didn't think I'd get the owner with that 'comment'..

Anyways, I'm thinking it's one of those midi-gliches that occur from time-to-time.

    The chord sequence just-prior to 0.38 goes; D, F#m, Bm, D7 then G..

Right on the 6th beat of that D7 I hear two piano notes, one after the other - first one is a D# and the other is an A# - they don't 'belong'.. I bet it's damn 'phantom notes' in the midi sequence?

BTW, lovely, haunting tune, beautifully-played on accordian.

    Lovely.

  • Great thanks for posting.
