well ur in Rome. Its a fine car in a city. But highway driving its probably not as great as bigger cars with more sound deadeners and bigger tires which make less interior noise

if i wanted something that seats two, i would get a motorcycle for half the price of the fortwo that destroys most cars on the road in acceleration and still gets 50 MPG.

Yeah - I can usually pull a U-turn in a residential street (I think I use about 28 foot circle)

Do you need to let the smart car warm up before you drive it in cold weather?

No. I ordered the package with heated leather seats (two heat levels per seat) so the seats heat up in seconds. The engine warms pretty quick and the heater puts out warm air within a few minutes even below zero. This is rear engine but they ran the water lines through the 'transmission tunnel' to keep the lines insulated enroute to the front radiator.
