ABOUT VAIOLINO

Vaiolino was born in Cologne in 1986. At an early age he discovered his love of music, immersing himself in different genres and becoming influenced by the beats of his Kurdish roots. By the age of 5 he had devoted himself to both percussion and violin, revelling in the different sounds.

After years of classical training on the violin, he decided to experiment with his much-loved hip-hop and electric beats. These two seemingly opposed sounds resonated together, and it was from this fusion that the concept of Vaiolino was created.

Since 2008, Vaiolino and his partner DJ Freeze (known collectively as the Cologne duo "Musical Healing") have been touring Europe, featuring on all the major club nights. Their eclectic blend of hip-hop, House and classical music pulses through the crowd, thrilling their audiences.

In 2010, Vaiolino began various solo projects. As well as touring with his violin, he is performing and producing his own tracks. Based on electronic beats and violin melodies, he offers his audience a new, alternative kind of music. Vaiolino gives his listeners a chance to experience something innovative and beautiful.
