Catastrophe In greek refers to the pinnacle of manhood not a bad thing at all. An amazing this. Zorba is saying you haven't lived.. Are you human....??? What sort of man are you?

@haivasalex ...thank you very much... :)
-
@laniten: "Am I not a man? and is not a man stupid. I'm a man... So I married. Wife, children, house, everything... the full catastrophe."
-
Zorba is being facetious when he talks about marriage. He is sort of making a mockery of the whole experience.Funny line - because most marriages are comic tragedies.Half of marriages end in divorce.A catastrophe I'm sure.
-
thank you very much..you are so kind..

Am I not a man? And is not a man stupid? I'm a man, so, I married. Wife, children, house... everything. The full catastrophy.
