Eh, i dont mind the smell...at all...been living here for 14 years and its still the same...kinda boring, but the bbq is still as awesome as it was when i first tasted it 14 years ago

I live in Luling. I don't mind the smell at all. It's the smell of money.... oil wells... I guess you hate if you don't own part of one. Actually I don't own part of one. But those people who do.. donate a lot. A lot of kids went to college on scholarships generated by that smell.

I been through here on the way to San Marcos. It stinks in Luling man. When we drive through there, we have to close the air wents....Is luling famous for its smelly self or something else??

I was born in Luling and my family moved when i was 5 months old. i can tell you of personal contacts that go to Luling City Market for BBQ from CA, VA, DC, MD, SC, GA, TX, WA, NY, MTL, IL, PA, UT, AZ, KY.
Also, twice a year, a group that holds an International Expo in Guadalajara, Jal. Mexico; they Drive coolers full of this GOODNESS 12 hours from luling to GDL.
it arrives hot. and it sells out in 2 hours or less.
