Our guide, Daisy (Padmaja Bharti) sings India's national anthem at the R C Public School in Yarlipura Village, Rajisthan State, India. The song is, Jana-Gana-Mana (Thou Art the Ruler of All Minds) and was first sung 27 December 1911 at the Calcutta session of the Indian National Congress. The R.C. Public School is supported by the Grand Circle Foundation through a very strict set of donation guidelines and controls. Daisy, our guide, is with Overseas Adventure Travel - a subsidiary of Grand Circle. So, we were delighted to visit this fine school!

  • Such a beautiful anthem and well done to sing amongst all those kids!! The kids were so quiet and respectful it is no wonder that the kids in India do so well if the get a chance to educate themselves.
