  • Once again Thanks a million for this upload.

    Atari 800XL was my 1st computer. I have a C64

emulator with IK, but was always craving the

music from the ATARI version, since to me it

looked, and especially sounded much better.

Brings back so much memories. : )

  • This version is amazing. I missed that old days so much :) Thanks for the video.

    c64 version^^

  • @EnigmaticConondrum

i love the synth pitch bends in the C64 version :)

infact most c64 tunes were amazing, especially for their time.

  • @SteveFusionX - I found a few clips featuring the C64 version of the game - the tonal quality, in some ways, is better, but feels stilted. The Atari 8-bit version feels more fluid...

  • I listened to the version of the C64 original although good, it doesn't soothe my soul like this one does. I always thought it was so cheap that the computer could do this block move but I couldn't. I tried everything. I think it was left out as a move.

  • Pure classic. I have missed this aswell. The one I downloaded on the Wii is the C64 version & it just isn't the same, the music sounds different so I never turn it on. I used to watch the demo afterward just to see all the different stages & THE MUSIC! God I miss that music.

  • c64 version is alot better

  • this reminds me of being 5 and playing on my brother's atari... where did the last 20 years go :O

  • Nothing beats the c64 version for music, but this is a fantastic conversion.

The catchy beat of the music is converted very well to atari.

  • Sounds terrific. Especially when considering that the Atari POKEY sound chip is in many ways inferior to Commodore's SID (not necessarliy sounding worse, but designed in a different way etc.), this is a total masterpiece and suprisingly up on par with the C64 version. Great tune, great game.

  • well C64 version is 11minutes and some seconds. it should show up on your right.
